Crunchy. Cheesy. Irresistible. Beef wontons, or as we affectionately call them, "Wonton Tacos," are like the superhero of grab-and-go dishes! Imagine crispy wonton shells filled with savory taco goodness and topped with cheese—could life get any tastier?
We love whipping these up for quick dinners, fancy appetizers, or even as a protein-packed snack when you're on the run! Whatever the occasion, they'll make hungry ranchers (and aspiring ranchers) jump for joy!
Crank up your oven to 350 degrees
Ingredients:
2 pounds of Montana Sisters Ground Beef
2 packs of taco seasoning - go wild with your favorite
2 cups of cheddar, pepper jack, or Mexican blend cheese - shredded to perfection
1 pack of Wontons
Optional Additions:
Diced Pickles
Diced Green Onions
Diced Tomatoes
Start by giving two muffin tins a good spray with cooking spray and nestle a wonton shell in each slot.
Brown that ground beef like a pro. Add your taco seasoning and a splash of water. Then, pack each wonton about halfway with the taco meat mixture.
Crown it with your favorite shredded cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes, or until the wonton edges are golden and crispy! Let these beauties cool for 5 minutes, then pile on your chosen toppings and dig in!
This recipe makes about 24 Wonton Tacos—enough to feed a small army or one really hungry person!
